Take a look at the pictures below and then I have a question for you.

WHAT DO ALL OF THESE GIRLS HAVE IN COMMON?

Yep, they all look amazing, but that's not it.

None of them wanted to be photographed. NOT ONE! Their mothers wanted beautiful images of them but their daughters, not so much. The moms went ahead and booked a photoshoot. A couple of them did it as a surprise, some cajoled and one mom, who I love! signed her daughters up not just for one photoshoot but for a whole year's worth on my Senior Squad. As a mom, believe me, I'd be begging and pleading if I had a daughter who thought this just isn't her thing.

FOR ALL YOU DAUGHTERS OUT THERE

This is a once in a lifetime experience, not just for you but for your parents. It's not just a want but becomes a need for them. Trust me, I'm a mom. It's okay to be in front of a camera and to be seen, to have the focus on you. You'll feel awkward for about the first 30 seconds, that's it. I have never had someone walk away from a photoshoot and say I'm so happy that's over, that was painful. It's the exact opposite! It happens over and over again. Do something really nice for your parent(s) and agree to a photoshoot. Think of it as your gift to them, an I love you for everything you've done for me.

Please share this with anyone who you think needs a little nudge. There are a lot of moms out there who will thank you for it.

Take a look at a behind the scenes video of Dani, who was really nervous before her shoot. Then go to Katie's video who said this is so not my thing while laughing the entire time!
