IMPORTANT For all SENIORS who are still up in the air about college. Read this…

Delaney showed up to her shoot wanting some shots with her Boston College shirt. Her dream school. The school she wanted so badly to go to. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. Delaney decided to go to Tulane. And off to Tulane she went, Delaney ended up LOVING It! She’s now a senior ready to graduate in May, but not from Tulane. She’s graduating from Cornell. Two years into Tulane she honed in on her priorities and what she wanted to do which led her to transfer.

Why am I telling you all of this?!

Because I know, there are a lot of you right now feeling like ODD PERSON OUT,  not knowing where you’re going to school or what you want to do. All your friends are excited, talking about their decisions and how great it’s all going to be. I know for a fact that YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON who doesn't know what you want. I see it year after year. IT’S OK! There are always options. You just need to be creative and think outside the box. I know this is going to sound so annoying but I’m going to say it anyway, THIS WILL ALL WORK OUT. Don’t get caught up in what everyone else is doing. Think about what is best for you.

IF YOU’VE BEEN THROUGH THIS please comment below.

Any grads who have taken an alternate path

Please share any words of wisdom...there are a lot of seniors right now who could use  a little help.

Who has gone through this and come out the other side happy?

Who took a semester to figure it all out?

Who didn’t get into their dream school?

Who has left their original school?

What did you do?

P.S. I originally posted this on both Instagram and Facebook where it got quite a bit of commenting. Check back next week for a follow up on a handful of alternative paths kids have taken.
