I sent out multiple texts to nineteen girls, trying to schedule this Fourth of July shoot at least 4 or 5 times. Nature of the business:)! At the last minute we finally ended up with the perfect evening and 2 girls, until I received a text that one of them got a flat tire and was going to miss the shoot. So it was Victoria and me. Over the years of trying to schedule shoots with busy girls, parents, assistants and hair and makeup artists I’ve come close to perfecting the art of letting go - believing that it will all work out.

I asked Victoria if she felt like doing some dance shots being that she’s a dancer. She was thrilled! I was thrilled! We both got so caught up in the joy of what we were doing that we ended up going until sunset. I can’t think of a more perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July than how and what we captured that evening.
