You all know by now that “my girls” become like family to me so at this time of year it becomes a little bittersweet.
It seems that the longer I photograph High School girls the more meaningful it becomes. Now that I’ve gone through the Senior Squad with my daughter it takes on a whole new meaning. Here’s the perspective coming from both me as a mom and my daughter.

There are certain moments, images and locations that I become completely absorbed in during a photoshoot. Afterwards, I start looking at the video and images from that particular time and there’s a feeling that I get. Then I have to put it all together hoping you feel something too. This was one of those moments. It’s from Jordyn’s shoot which I’ll show you in another post. For now, I wanted to share this.
